What Dokulo is

Dokulo is a PDF toolkit and scanner that works on your phone. It needs no account, and its tools work without the internet: your files stay on your phone.

Using Dokulo

You may use Dokulo on the devices your App Store or Google Play account lets you install it on. The store's own terms apply to the download and to every purchase.

Dokulo Pro

Pro is a one-time in-app purchase through the App Store or Google Play. The store takes the payment and handles refunds under its terms. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Your documents

You decide what you open, change and share with Dokulo, and you need the right to do so. Keep a copy of documents that matter. Check the result before you share it, above all after Black out: only what the result shows as blacked out is removed.

On-device AI (optional downloads)

Summaries, answers and translations come from models on your phone and can be wrong. Check them against the document. When you use Gemma, follow Google's Gemma Prohibited Use Policy (https://ai.google.dev/gemma/prohibited_use_policy).

Open-source software

Dokulo is built with open-source software. Each part keeps its own licence; the list is on the website's licences page and in the app under Me → Open-source licences.

Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for a breach of an essential obligation, and only up to the damage typical of and foreseeable for this contract.

Changes

When Dokulo changes, these terms may change too. The date at the top says which version this is.

Law

German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection of the country you live in still applies.
